Main Library Launches a New Book Locker Service

The Main Library of the Maria Grzegorzewska University has launched a new service for the Academy community. From now on, books ordered through the Library catalogue can be collected from a self-service book locker, including outside the Library’s opening hours.

The book locker is located at the entrance to Building C and provides a quick and convenient way to collect previously ordered materials without having to visit the Library’s Circulation Desk. The service is particularly useful for students and staff whose classes, work or other commitments make it difficult to visit the Library during its regular opening hours.

How does it work?

Books can be ordered as usual through the Library catalogue: https://sowa.aps.edu.pl/

When placing an order, simply select Book Locker (Książkomat) as the collection point. Once the order is ready, you will receive a notification informing you that the books are waiting for you in the locker.

Collection is quick and straightforward and takes just a few moments.

The new service makes the Main Library’s collections more accessible and gives users greater flexibility when planning their visits to the Academy. The book locker complements the traditional Circulation Desk, allowing users to choose the collection method that best fits their daily schedule.
