ENTER: Call for abstracts

Submit to be a part of ENTER webinar "Connecting people with disabilities through technology: opportunities and pitfalls".

The ENTER Mental Health Network, in collaboration with the Social Protection Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (IRSSV), is organising a webinar titled Connecting People with Disabilities through Technology – Opportunities and Pitfalls.

Time: 17:00–19:00 (Central European Time)
Format: Online (Zoom)

The webinar will bring together individuals with disabilities, professionals, and researchers to exchange experiences related to digital communication and inclusion. The focus will be on the use of online tools that support connection and engagement.

Call for Abstracts:
Abstract submissions are invited from organisations that are part of the ENTER network. Submissions may also be made in collaboration with non-member organisations interested in sharing experiences in using technology to connect people with disabilities. Collaboration with user-led organisations is encouraged.

Deadline: 4 May 2026

Speakers from different countries will present their experiences of establishing and maintaining online connections. Presentations will address the importance of digital communication, its benefits for inclusion, as well as the challenges, concerns, and limitations associated with this mode of interaction.
Each presentation will last approximately 10–15 minutes and will be followed by a general discussion session.

Technical Information
•    The webinar will take place online via Zoom 
•    Moderation will be provided by representatives of IRSSV 
•    The webinar will be held in English 
•    Multilingual participation is possible; speakers are responsible for arranging translation 
•    The session will be recorded and made available online after the event
