ESA RN10 Mid-term Conference

The ESA Research Network 10 (Sociology of Education) is pleased to invite submissions for its upcoming Mid-term Conference, titled "Young Researcher Academy for Methodological Advancements in Sociological Research and Education. Resilience and Well-being in Academic Endeavours." This conference aims to bring together emerging scholars and early-career researchers from diverse disciplines to foster an enriching interdisciplinary dialogue. The conference is organized in collaboration with the Doctoral Students Unions from the Maria Grzegorzewska University.
The event will serve as a dynamic platform for participants to exchange ideas, share insights, and engage in critical discussions on a range of topics, including methodological innovations in sociological research, addressing challenges in academic inquiry, and developing effective strategies to enhance resilience and well-being in the context of academic life.
By creating a collaborative environment, the conference seeks to empower young researchers with tools, perspectives, and networks to navigate the complexities of modern academic and research landscapes. We warmly encourage submissions that contribute to these important conversations and advance understanding in the sociology of education.
We welcome contributions addressing, but not limited to:
- Methodological advancements in sociological research and education
- Innovative research designs and data collection strategies in educational sociology
- Ethical dilemmas and reflexivity in researching education and youth
- Challenges faced by early-career researchers in academia
- Strategies for building resilience and well-being in academic careers
- Precarity, mental health, and work-life balance in research and teaching
- Interdisciplinary approaches to educational and social research
- The role of mentorship, networking, and collaboration in academic success
Submission Guidelines
We invite abstracts (250–300 words) for individual papers, panels, and methodological workshops. Submissions should include a title, author(s), affiliation(s), and a short biography.

📅 Results of the abstract selection: 20th of May 2025
